Reviewed commercial ego and exo evidence

Two Work Events. Two Capture Priorities.

One configuration preserves broader scene coverage. The other moves two ego cameras to the wrists for closer manipulation detail while retaining external context.

Scene-first configuration

Actor Detail With Wider Work Context.

One actor-aligned POV stream is paired with frontal, side, and whole-body external views of the same work event.

Commercial garment inspection and sorting15 seconds, 1920 × 1080, 24 FPS, audio removed

Paired preview: observed alignment only, not validated sensor synchronization.

360 frames

Manually aligned within an observed 200 ms tolerance.

All 360 native-HD master frames and all 360 website-derivative frames were reviewed or mechanically revalidated in order. Tight frame-indexed masks follow the visible head in frontal, side and whole-body views; identifier and reflection masks remain. Audio and source metadata were removed.

Contact-first configuration

Both Wrists Close to the Work.

Right- and left-wrist ego views preserve near-field manipulation while frontal and wide exo views retain body and workspace context.

Visually aligned within an estimated 500 ms tolerance; not calibration-grade sensor fusion.

All 360 approved-master frames were reviewed in order. The native-resolution web derivative retained the same tight tracked face mask and fixed identifier redactions, then re-passed full decode, mask-opacity, face-detection and QR checks across all 360 frames. Audio and source metadata were removed.

Existing first-party collection

Start With Real Workplace Coverage.

EGXO matches current commercial inventory to the buyer's required work events, viewpoint, volume, technical properties, privacy threshold, security controls, permitted use, and delivery path. Unsupported assumptions stay out of the proposal.

Collection provenance

This inventory was collected through licensed GIG Rewards collection programs operated with telco partners. The commercial source inventory is first-party material, not repackaged public or marketplace footage.

License Existing Workplace Video

Request an inventory review when existing tasks and viewpoints may fit. EGXO confirms eligible media, technical scope, privacy status, price, rights, and delivery in writing.

A commercial capture environment does not by itself grant commercial-use rights; permitted use is defined in writing for each delivery.

What Buyers Should Verify.

A workplace label is not enough. Each delivery needs task, view, privacy, rights, timing, and ingest evidence.

QuestionCurrent evidenceConfirmed per buyer

Design Collection Around the Work.

Custom workplace data should preserve the model-relevant event without turning normal operations into uncontrolled surveillance.

Task contract

Define Observable Work Events

Specify the task, step boundaries, objects, tools, outcomes, failures, interruptions, and critical actions that must remain visible.

View contract

Choose Actor and Scene Coverage

Use actor POV for broader task state, wrist views for close manipulation, external views for body and workspace context, and paired capture only when correspondence matters.

Release contract

Accept Rights-Eligible Episodes

Scale against ingestible episodes that pass media, task, privacy, rights, annotation, lineage, and buyer-loader gates.

Critical distinction

Commercial Setting Is Not Commercial Permission.

The word commercial on this page describes where work is performed. It does not silently grant model-training, commercial deployment, redistribution, publication, or resale rights.

Each buyer should receive a written scope covering eligible media, intended use, access, retention, vendor handling, derived outputs, restricted uses, privacy controls, and deletion or return obligations.

Commercial Egocentric Data Questions

Project commitments belong in the inventory review, pilot evidence, and written agreement.

What is commercial egocentric data?

Commercial egocentric data records work activity from the actor's point of view in a commercial or workplace environment. It can be paired with external views to preserve body motion, workspace context, and events outside the first-person camera.

Can a company buy existing commercial or workplace egocentric video from EGXO?

Yes. Qualified organizations can request a review of EGXO's current first-party commercial and workplace inventory. Available tasks, viewpoints, volume, privacy status, permitted use, price, security, and delivery are confirmed against the submitted requirement.

Does commercial environment mean the footage includes commercial-use rights?

No. Commercial describes the capture setting. Evaluation, model training, commercial deployment, retention, vendor access, redistribution, and publication rights are granted only when stated in a written license.

Which viewpoints exist in the current commercial collection?

The reviewed public evidence includes one actor-POV configuration with three external views and one dual-wrist configuration with frontal and wide external views. Broader episode relationships and timing status are confirmed per buyer delivery.

Can EGXO collect new commercial egocentric data?

Yes. A custom program can be scoped around the buyer's workflows, sites, viewpoints, contributor criteria, sensors, annotations, privacy rules, rights, acceptance gates, scale, and delivery format. Final commitments are confirmed in writing after a project brief and pilot review.
