# EGXO Dataset Purchase and Licensing Summary

This summary defines the purchase and access boundary for the EGXO Household Egocentric Video Dataset. The dataset is available for controlled commercial licensing, and a separate written agreement controls every media delivery.

## Collection source

The dataset was collected through licensed GIG Rewards collection programs operated with telco partners. It is first-party inventory rather than a repackaged public or third-party marketplace dataset.

## Access is manual

EGXO reviews each request based on the requester, organization or research affiliation, intended use, security needs, required rights, and project fit. Submitting a request does not guarantee access.

## Repository access is not a training license

Access to a repository, catalog, preview, transfer folder, or evaluation package does not by itself grant permission for production model training, commercial use, redistribution, resale, sublicensing, publication, or creation of a public derivative dataset.

## Licensed recipients must

- use the package only for the purpose approved in writing
- keep the media and non-public metadata access-controlled
- limit access to approved personnel
- avoid attempting to identify contributors
- report suspected unauthorized access
- delete or return the package when the approved evaluation ends
- comply with any geographic, retention, publication, or vendor-access limits in the written terms

## Available commercial rights

Evaluation, model-training, derived-model, benchmark-publication, vendor-access, retention, redistribution, and expanded-volume rights can be licensed when explicitly stated in writing. Pricing and permitted use are buyer-specific. EGXO can also scope additional collection, annotation, metadata, quality review, and delivery work.

Additional first-party inventory is available for scoped review and can be packaged subject to technical validation, rights confirmation and buyer requirements. New task-specific collection can also be commissioned.
